Ingredients Russia 2006 has again proved its status as the leading event in Russia for the food ingredients sector.

The event took place on 5-8 December and was located for the first time in the new, state-of-the-art venue, Crocus Expo.

The new venue obviously appealed to both exhibitors and visitors, attracting a staggering 11,231* attendees and a record number of international and domestic exhibitors.

In total, there were 334* exhibitors covering 12,500 sqm** exhibiting space.

The number of international exhibitors rose by an impressive 63% compared to the previous year.

A popular attraction was TechnoFood sector, which was launched at the event. Exhibitors who took part in this exhibition consisted of manufacturers who produce machinery and technology solutions for processing raw materials and food ingredients.

Ingredients Russia is an invaluable source of information and a forum in which to discuss the latest industry developments. The International Forum, entitled “Ingredients of the 21 st Century”, is a major source of news and networking opportunities, with 60 speakers and 750 attendees.
